Claremore Chamber announces Christmas Parade Theme and Call for Entries

CLAREMORE, OK – The Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host the 2019 Claremore Christmas Parade on the evening of Saturday, December 7, 2019. This year’s enchanting theme is “A Fairy Tale Christmas.” The Chamber will be giving away cash prizes for the following categories: Best Use of Decorated Lights, Best Use of Parade Theme and Christmas Spirit Award. Participants are asked to be imaginative with their entries and create something truly magical; like something out of a storybook.

Entry applications are now available at the Chamber. Applications can be found on the Chamber’s website at www.claremore.org or physical applications are also available at the Chamber office at 419 W. Will Rogers Blvd. Entry application deadline is close of business on Monday, December 2, 2019.

“Seeing thousands of people line Will Rogers Boulevard for this parade is always a remarkable sight. Last year, we had over 60 parade entries. We know this parade means a lot to families and to the Claremore community, and we are thrilled to be a part of something that makes so many people happy around the holidays,” said Katie Thibodeaux, Chamber Communications Coordinator.

The parade will begin at 5:30 PM starting at First Baptist Church, head west on Will Rogers Blvd. and conclude at the Claremore Indian Hospital.

This parade is made possible by the generosity of sponsorships offered by Claremore businesses. The 2019 Claremore Christmas Parade Sponsors include: Presenting Sponsor, Rescue Heat & Air; Star Sponsors, Apex Title & Closing Services, B&B Theatres, Neely Insurance & Financial Services and Rice Funeral Service; Ribbon Sponsors, BancFirst, Chick-fil-A Claremore, Grand Lake Mental Health Center and Solid Rock Realtors – Michael Urie.
